Professor Emeritus, McMaster University

I was founder and president of Optimization Systems Associates Inc.  In 1997, Hewlett-Packard Company acquired OSA, expanding its CAE portfolio.

My technical interests include the design and optimization of electronic, radio frequency, wireless, microwave, high-speed, and mixed-signal circuits and systems; device and component modeling, analog simulation, statistical design centering and yield-driven design; design with tolerances, mathematical optimization theory and algorithms; engineering modeling and optimization through physics-based surrogates and space mapping; microwave imaging; electromagnetic field simulation and optimization; simulation-driven tuning; device modeling through artificial neural networks; software engineering and design visualization; cognitive aspects of artistic expression; and cognition-driven processes in engineering modeling and design optimization.

I am also a writer and artist and president of Bandler Corporation.
