I was founder and president of Optimization
Systems Associates Inc. In 1997, HP acquired OSA, expanding its CAE
portfolio.
My technical interests include CAD/CAE of electronic,
radio frequency, wireless, microwave, high-speed, and mixed-signal circuits and systems,
device modeling, analog simulation, statistical design centering and
yield-driven design, design with tolerances, optimization theory and algorithms,
engineering modeling and optimization through surrogates and space mapping, electromagnetic field simulation and optimization,
simulation-based tuning, device modeling through artificial neural networks, software engineering,
optimal design visualization, and graphical user interfaces.
I am also a
writer and artist.
